The Ezer standing wheelchair has been awarded the National Healthcare Innovation Award 2025 by the expert jury. This mechanical standing wheelchair improves the independence, health, and dignity of wheelchair users. The People’s Choice Award goes to Freequency: the app that tackles tinnitus through play. Freequency is the first augmented reality serious game designed to help manage tinnitus. The app uses gamification to make therapy accessible for home use.
Zorginnovatie.nl presented the National Care Innovation Award for the tenth time during Zorg & ict. The winners received their prizes from the hands of Constantijn van Oranje. Ezer received a check of 10,000 euros, Freequency received 5,000 euros.
