Every day, the Care & ict event welcomes thousands of visitors. Gaining inspiration, networking and browsing the booths. Dutch Health Hub asks visitors about their experience. Today: Willemijn Edel and Lonneke Reitsma."Lots of great developments, but where is the overview?"
Who are you?
Willemijn Edel and Lonneke Reitsma.
Where do you work?
Edel: "I work as a general practitioner and chief medical information officer (CMIO)." Reitsma: "I work as a project manager at the regional cooperation organization RijnmondNet."
What is your biggest discovery so far?
Edel: "What strikes us at Zorg & ict is how many small ICT developments there are, but also how much they partially overlap. I thought Juvoly was a great example. That's really nice front-line speech recognition."
Reitsma: "I would like to see Meal & Care's high-protein foods to support faster recovery and the elderly. We've seen a lot of great technology today, all solving a piece of larger issues. They connect nicely, but indeed they also overlap partially. You're missing something that connects high across. We haven't found that today."
What are you missing?
Reitsma: "Another thing I missed at the event today was a good map. I didn't really know how the routes were determined, what was clustered where."
What is the cutest gadget you scored?
Edel: "We didn't bring any gadgets of our own. Do you have anything to hand out?"
