Zorggroep Oosterhout & Omstreken (Zorroo) is taking the next step toward deepening its digital working methods in primary care. With the commissioning of the Bettr platform, Zorroo chooses, according to director Maud Voermans, an optimized digital support of declaration and payment processes in the coming years.
Zorroo is a leading regional partnership of more than eighty general practitioners, spread over just under forty practices. The care group is known for its innovative approach and future-oriented vision of digitization. For example, Zorroo works with a digital triage system based on AI. Image calls and digital questionnaires are also part of the working method.
Optimal support
Attention to digital innovation is not only in the primary process. To optimize the digital support of the declaration and financial processes, Zorroo has signed a three-year cooperation agreement with Bettr Finance.
"For us, it is crucial that we optimally support our processes in terms of declarations and disbursements digitally," says Zorroo director Maud Voermans. "Bettr's solution supports our process perfectly and also provides the insight and direction we need."
Open character
According to Voermans, Bettr 's strengths include its user-friendliness and open, nimble nature. For example, Bettr has links to various accounting packages and general practitioner information systems (HIS). It also connects seamlessly with Medicom, which is used by all general practitioners in the Oosterhout region. Moreover, there is an integration with Topicus HAP, which is used at the GP out-of-hours surgery.
Regional cooperation
According to director Arjan Karens of Bettr Finance, the versatility of the Bettr platform fits seamlessly with developments in the field. In it, there is an increasing emphasis on regional cooperation and joint solutions, with a particular focus on the financial process. "In this, Bettr Finance strives to be not only the best, but also the most open solution," Karens responds. "By 'open' I mean that we can cooperate and link with all parties."
Uniformity
Several GP practices affiliated with Zorroo have already switched to Bettr Finance. More practices are expected to follow, with Zorroo facilitating GP practices from a service-oriented and supportive role. These developments at the care group, general practice and practice level strengthen regional cooperation and encourage uniformity.
