[vc_row width="container-in-fluid-container-pulled-back"][vc_column][column_text]The new edition of the Health Impact Accelerator has started again. The five innovative teams listed below have been selected to work on their ventures over the next 10 weeks under the guidance of two experienced coaches.

Carapax IT

At Carapax IT, people with autism work on high-quality ICT solutions. Through the innovation Know Yourself, people who are prone to chronic stress are monitored. This is done through remote monitoring using wearables. Not only are trends in chronic stress visualized, but also the individual stressors that underlie them.

Voca Care

Voca Care is a platform for and by self-employed healthcare professionals. On the platform freelancers and healthcare institutions can find each other without the intervention of an intermediary. The registered freelancers manage their own availability, profile and rates. Clients can thus easily approach a suitable contractor. This saves time and costs.

Fox Connect

Fox Connect helps people with physical disabilities digitally experience more freedom through a robotic car: the IP-Car. This allows them to move around freely, watch and communicate with others in locations where they cannot (or can no longer) physically go. Friends or family can take the IP-Car to locations where, through a real-time connection, the IP-Car can be controlled from home. Thus, the field of vision can be determined by oneself.

Self-Care by the Sea

Self-Care at Sea is an interdisciplinary treatment program for people struggling with the consequences of lung covid, post-commotional syndrome (long-term symptoms after a concussion) or other forms of non-congenital brain injury. Guided by specialists, participants are challenged to (re)discover talents. Surfing forms a large part of the treatment program.

Cobble

Kwebbel has developed a secure software that can be used on a tablet. This allows clients, care providers and informal caregivers to communicate with each other in a safe, easy and efficient way and stay in touch with the client's environment. Thanks to the simple and clear operation of the software, all involved regain their own control.

Getting Started

These five teams will go through the HIA program over the next 10 weeks. During the program, they will work on their company's value proposition, identify their key stakeholders and learn about the healthcare (payment) system, among other things.

All teams will deliver a business plan. They will pitch this to a panel of judges made up of experienced business developers and industry stakeholders. They will judge each team and see which company has the most potential.

The winner of the Health Impact Accelerator will be announced on June 13 during Care & ICT, partnerl of the Dutch Health Week.[/column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/4″][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/4″][button button="url:https%3A%2F%2Fevents.jaarbeurs.nl%2Fcare-and-ict-2023%2Fbegin%3Fref%3Dwebsite%20|title:Register%20for%20free%20access|target:%20_blank|"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/4″][/vc_column width="1/4″][/vc_row
