Eeko is the partner in collecting cartridges, cell phones and tablets. For each usable item, they pay a fee that supports charity.
They specialize in 100% data removal. They "wipe" the data from the returned mobile devices with Blank Mobile Device Eraser. After erasing all the data, the device is suitable for reuse. Smartphones and tablets that cannot be wiped are shredded preserving the precious metals and other raw materials for the production of new products.
Note: devices whose data cannot be deleted are often locked; hence the request that all devices be reset to factory settings prior to submission.
